This is one of my most favorite children's books, although the message is applicable to any age (yes, even adults!). As our church's children's music ministry director, it has been my tradition for the past 12 years to read this book aloud at the conclusion of our final dress rehearsal. I want the kids to take away the assurance that God's love for each of them is simply because He is their Creator, not performance-based nor based on the approval (or disapproval) of man. I tie the message of the book in with Psalm 139 and Isaiah 43:1.

I bought this book to read to my grandchildren. Max Lucado has a unique way of telling each child just how

special they are in a very short, novelette form. I do take the time to explain to the children just how very special

and unique each one is...........knowing they are made by their Creator :)

love this book and its message....Listen to God and the negativity and criticisms of the world wont stick to you!!!

I read it to children from 4-14 and they all embrace the story ......only negative comment is the book was a paperback and much smaller than I anticipated...my fault-should have read the description better

i loved the message so much I'm giving them as Christmas gifts to my adult friends.

What a wonderful book for all ages! It touched my heart when I first read it as an adult. I bought it most recently for a child, and ended up reading it as an illustration while teaching a College and Career Sunday School class.
