Series: King's Meadow
For two single parents with bruised hearts, itll take more than a little courage to get back on the horse when it comes to love.
Kimberly Welch lost her husband to a heart attack in the blink of an eye. But shes losing her daughter slowly, in the day-to-day tension. In three difficult years, Kimberly has gone from Seattle socialite to Kings Meadow charity case, and her daughter is not responding well to the changes. Shes becoming a sullen, cantankerous teen.
Chet Leonard lost his teenage son in a car accident. Then his wife abandoned him and their two remaining boys. He tries to keep his mind on the family ranch, but if the last two years have taught him anything, its that sometimes you just have to let the memories hurt. Let the memories hurt, and leave well enough alone.
But when Chet volunteers to help tame Kimberlys daughters horse, everyone gets more than they bargained for . . . especially when eighty-four-year-old Anna McKenna shows up.
Nana Anna has reappeared in Kings Meadow after decades away, bringing with her the magnetism and transformative joy that come from a life well lived . . . just the kind of magic that a couple of unlucky-in-love single parents need to conjure up a little courage and raise a new family from the ashes of tragedy.

Doris WrightMorganfield, KYAge: 55-65Gender: female2 Stars Out Of 5Kind of flatAugust 22, 2015Doris WrightMorganfield, KYAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 2Value: 2Meets Expectations: 2The book was not a page turner. It was not even great. The characters were flat. The author repeated herself saying the same thing over and over throughout the whole book. What really bothered me was on Chet & Kimberly's second date they went to a natural hot spring. On a second date? Really?? I think something like should have come way later. The part about the horses and the training and the scenery was very good.
Rhonda Nash-hallMadison Heights VAAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Nice Surprise in this bookMarch 14, 2015Rhonda Nash-hallMadison Heights VAAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I've never been into cowboy romances. I am a bit afraid of horses though I admire their beauty. But this book was a lovely exception. The hero is a cowboy and he raises horses and I LOVED this book! I also usually prefer a romance with some mystery or suspense involved but this book did not have either of those elements and yet it was a very engaging book. I quickly felt a real concern and kinship with the characters. Both Kimberly and Chet have suffered a great loss in their marital relationships but Tara throws them together. Are they ready for it? Can they open their hearts and trust again? Read this enchanting book to find out.
I have never been to Idaho but the beauty described by Robin Lee Hatcher makes me want to hop in the van for a road trip. I have never really had the desire to stay on a horse ranch either but this book made me consider the possibility. In fact, I wish I had the money to get started right now. Who is ready to go with me? We can explore the beautiful ranch and maybe even learn to ride horses. I'm sure Chet would teach us. Who is up for riding lessons from a gorgeous cowboy?
I rate this book 5 stars and highly recommend it to readers.

I loved the story line, the family values shown in the story, the location and lifestyle. The cowboy needed a second chance for happiness. The turmoil from a burned down barn to the romantic relationship growing between Chet and his lady.
alisaUtahAge: 35-44Gender: female3 Stars Out Of 5Overall good story but lacked development for meJanuary 2, 2015alisaUtahAge: 35-44Gender: femaleThis story sounded promising and it was sweet, but something lacked in the character development and overall feeling for me. I am a romantic at heart, so I knew that the two main characters would be able to overcome the challenges of getting together, but when they did, I didnt feel much. Im not sure what this is due to exactly.
I did find the relationship between the main characters daughter and the male main character the most endearing. I havent read any other books by this author, so maybe if I had, the book would have appealed to me.
The thing I liked most about this book was the clean romantic aspect. I liked how the male character truly believed in the power of God in his life and so did the female eventually. I appreciated how they appealed to prayer and scripture and spiritual insight in their relationships with each other and other people. I think this appealed to me because I have tried to live my life in the same way.
Overall, it was a good read, but it wasnt a huge page turner for me and some of the character development was lacking for me, but the scenery and horse time was beautiful.

You can read Love Without End and enjoy it immensely, even without having read Promises Kept.
Chet Leonard is a rancher in Idaho, owner of Leonard Ranch Quarter Horses. While mourning the death of another son and the breakup of his marriage, he still has to care for his two other sons. As he tries to come to terms with his wife's total abandonment, he learns his beloved "Nana Anna," an adopted member of his family, is coming to stay at the ranch.
He barely has time to return from the airport with Nana Anna when Kimberly Welch, a single mother with a troubled teenager, shows up to ask his help with her daughter Tara's horse. Kimberly explains one of his friends, Janet Dunn, referred her to his ranch. Chet agrees out of respect for his friend, even though he really doesn't have the time or inclination to help.
As Chet is settling into his new life without his son and wife, Kimberly is settling into her new life as a widowed mother with a teenager. Both Chet and Kimberly feel at their wit's ends at times. Were it not for Nana Anna being there for Chet, and Kimberly's friend letting her live with her rent free, neither would weather this season of their lives well.
As Chet, Nana Anna, Kimberly and Tara become accustomed to their new lives, prayer and good friends help them through the rough times.
Love Without End is a wonderful book of life. Frank and honest, it is a novel you do not want to miss. It will be hard to put down!
