We ordered the study guides and dvd - only to have them arrive and discover there is a companion book recommended ("The Relationship Principles of Jesus"). This was a surprise to us - as the books are hardback and cost about $15-20 each. It would have been helpful if this suggestion had been part of the description online when we purchased the study guides and DVD.

It's not that it teaches falsehoods, but so much of the text seemed contrived to take the Bible truth and shape it into a pre-determined format. I say just teach God's truth and let the Holy Spirit teach the folks. Some of the text in the book made assumptions about why people do or do not react a certain way to the claims as selected by the author, and I find that too general, and not really so, in some cases. I was asked to teach a group but couldn't because I just don't think it's on target. I also was disappointed that a study of Love for Christians didn't start with God's love for us, which is our greatest motivation. Yes, it's assumed perhaps but I never assume anything when teaching. To me, it appears that this type of study and format is part of why we see the creeping apostacy the End Times suffers. No question; we need to see God's love flowing through our lives to a lost and dying world, and often, a hurting church. I just don't think this is the channel. Sorry; I hate to be critical of anyone's effort but in all honesty, I can't say different.
