AmandaAge: 25-34Gender: female3 Stars Out Of 5Good but not GreatApril 15, 2014AmandaAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 3Value: 5Meets Expectations: 1Read it if you must. It's a decent read if you find yourself with time on your hands, but the "mystery" is negligible, as is the "romance." Tish stands on the brink of being a truly good character, with interesting flaws and a distinctly quirky personality, but just doesn't quite come to life, and barely takes a stab at a character arc.
Overall, it could have been a great book with a stronger plot and some character ironing, but it just doesn't make it.
Yellow flowerKimberley, BCAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Keeps you guessing.January 6, 2014Yellow flowerKimberley, BCAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book was one of those books where you think you have it figured out, and you're wrong. Quite a different kind of story and a lot of who done it, humour and life's embarrassing moments. A little romance, some renovation, and a closer look at who we are in the light of Gods grace.
Jean WestAustin, TXAge: 45-54Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Unpredictable funJune 17, 2013Jean WestAustin, TXAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5While the ending was disappointing, the rest of the story was fascinating. I had a great time reading it and just couldn't put it down. When I finished reading it I learned it is the first of 3 in a series. Boy was I thrill to learn that and immediately bought the other two. Right away I noticed the reason for the disappointing ending of this book is because the story continues. I am excited to read the other two and see where the story takes us. I love this author. She is funny and unpredictable in her writing, which in my book is a great combination!

AnonymousFloridaAge: 55-65Gender: female2 Stars Out Of 5This book isn't worth the timeMarch 27, 2012AnonymousFloridaAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 2Value: 3Meets Expectations: 2The book is slow starting, very quirky, and somewhat unbelievable. Too much "fake" mystery. Hardly any Christian values. Heroine just gives up in the end. Wouldn't recommend.
Most reviewers liked this book so I trusted them. Don't!! Won't read this author again.
