"Love is a Battlefield" is a Christian romance. The heroine quit her job, was left at the altar, and will have to accept a demotion to a seasonal ranger if she wants to keep working at the park she loves. Rather than resent the people who deserve it, she decides to resent the poor fellow who was hired to take her position. He's very nice and understanding, but he accidentally keeps doing things that tick her off. She knows she's being immature to take her issues out on him. Some forced time together (on a stake-out to catch a vandal) makes her reconsider her attitude toward him.
The heroine had a number of issues that she needed to work through (why she agreed to marry a guy she didn't love, her strained relationship with her sister, etc.), and the story was as much about that as the romance. But we do get many scenes involving the hero and heroine working together, getting to know each other, and falling in love. The underlying theme was forgiving past hurts.
The hero and heroine were both Christians, so they went to church and prayed. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I'd recommend this enjoyable romance.
