Abrianna Cunningham has finally come to realize that she is in love with her long-time friend Wade Ackerman. But wealthy businessman Priam Welby has set his sights on Abrianna and will stop at nothing to make sure that she marries him.
This is Abianna and Wades story and we finally get to see the conclusion to their story. I really enjoyed getting to know them better. The author has great talent in writing couples that are both believable and work well together.
Wade was a wonderful hero and although he had his faults, his love for God was truly refreshing for me. I loved the fact that he could be strong and make decisions, but also knew of his great need of God.
Abianna stayed true to her character throughout all three books. She was spunky and willing to follow where she believed God was leading her and to stay strong even the face of great opposition. I think that this could be a great lesson for many Christian women.
Prim Welby was a wonderful villain that added much too overall story.
As with her other books, the author does include much about God and faith within certain character that ties into the story extremely well.
I enjoyed this book as well as the whole series very much and would whole heartedly recommend them.
Robin Willson5 Stars Out Of 5What a strong willed woman can do . . .March 26, 2016Robin WillsonQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This has been SUCH a good series, and I've loved every one of the characters in these books. Adopted Aunts run a home that is a place for young girls to live and learn how to be a good wife and run a household. Abrianna wasn't the most skilled at homemaking skills, but she has the biggest heart for the homeless. She is also extremely headstrong in her determination once deciding that God has placed a task on her heart to complete. One thing I didn't really get was that Abrianna didn't recognize her love for Wade right away, but of course this leads to the depth of the plot twist. You'll be sure to enjoy this as a fun read! Love and faith lessons throughout.

Yet Abrianna has doubts about her adequacy to be a wife, in spite of having been raised in the Madison Bridal School by her aunts.
The Seattle Fire of 1889 has changed much in the city as the residents rebuild. As a businessman, Priam Welby is poised to take advantage of the changes. He is not prepared for Abriannas dissolution of their forced relationship, however, and determines to marry her, regardless of her lack of affection for him, and using whatever means necessary to secure the union.
I loved revisiting the endearing characters I had met in the previous book. Each one was essential to the story at one point or another. I did lose patience with Abriannas indecision, but as the book progressed, the pace and excitement increased until the fantastic conclusion of the story.
Anyone who has read the previous book in the series, Refining Fire, will definitely want to read this. Romance and historical fiction fans will want to pick this up, as well.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher, Bethany House, in exchange for my honest review, which I have given.
Mrs ARS5 Stars Out Of 5A new favorite by Tracie PetersonOctober 31, 2015Mrs ARSQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Love Everlasting is the third book in Tracie Petersons series of the Brides of Seattle. This is actually the first book I have read in this series and it stood alone well. I was drawn first to this story simply because of the lovely cover. Abrianna is looking at something that we cannot see and I found this to be very true of her character in the story as well, as her mind was always coming up with ideas or ways to fix problems. She has fallen in love with her very best friend Wade and everyone expects them to marry soon. However Abrianna is very concerned and questions if she and Wade should marry at all or would marriage ruin their friendship. The first half of this book was a little bit slow as nothing seemed to happen but Abriannas going back and forth on her upcoming marriage. But about half-way through, the story picked up at a rapid pace and took a very dangerous turn for Abrianna and all of those she holds dear. She is now trapped in a compromise that risks the very lives of her family and friends and at the hands of a very evil man. I was quickly turning the pages just to see how everything would work out in the end. My favorite Tracy Peterson stories are her older ones and I felt this was reminiscent of those. I received a copy for an honest review from Bethany House Publishers and the opinions are my own.
RachelGender: Female3 Stars Out Of 5Okay Book But Not the BestOctober 31, 2015RachelGender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3I tried really hard to get into this book. I read several chapters and just could not make myself fall in love with this book. My typical reading style is books that are not terribly wordy and I found that this book was a tad bit wordy. It has lots of big words that may have been how people talked way back then but I think it makes the flow of the book hard to get. This is the third book in the series and although I didn't read the other two books first, I did alright with the back story. The main problem that I had not reading the other two books is I felt like there was a ton of stuff that was wrapped up in all of the characters that I didn't know. I wasn't confused, I was just left wondering about everything that had happened before. So, my recommendation is to read the other two books first for that reason only. I loved the front cover. It was very pretty and match the description perfectly of the main character. I did not enjoy the main character of the book. She seemed whiney instead of concerned which is what I think the author was going for. I actually would like to read the other two books in the series, because their characters are present in this book and they seemed interesting. While this book wasn't my favorite, I would like to try another book by Tracie.
I received this book from Bethany House in exchange for my review. A positive review was not required.
