This book brings the prodigal son's story to the present day. A great way to share God's redemptive love with someone who needs the story but doesn't feel the Bible is for them.

This book, set in current times, just shows you how Bible stories really can relate to the current times

Lost December is a powerful, age old tale, set in modern times. It will open your eyes to the stark realities of life. An account of love, life, loss and love again, full of passion and the struggles of the rich and the poor. This story is fictional, but there is deep truth in its telling.

Richard has again created an exceptional work with characters you will learn to love and others to despise. Full of desperate situations, the realities of the lost and forgotten, and the redeeming glimmer of hope it is truly a tale lived by many.

Lost December is a perfect read to awaken our sense of caring in a world full of lost souls.

Lost December is a good book it is a modern telling of the prodigal Son. This book is so much better then Promise Me. Yes up there with the impact of The Christmas Box. The Thing that does bother me is this For all who know the story of the prodigal son know that it includes a Brother. Why did he leave the brother out of the story. It also show why we should not cut ourselves off for those who care and are only tring to protect you. I was able to get this from my local public library . It is a quick read The story moves along and keep you turning pages I read it in about 3 and 1/2 hours.Glad he returned to the kind of very good writing I have enjoyed from him in the past.
