Product Description

In this 13-session Bible Study on The Lord's Prayer by Daniel Thompson, he shares his life experiences and how he relates them to developing a richer, fuller relationship with Jesus Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit. Biblical quotes are included, to be studied and applied to your own life experiences. Jesus Christ gave us the words in the Lord’s Prayer, and it is up to us to incorporate them into our own lives. Daniel encourages you to write your own words in this book and leave your own legacy to your family.

Each session concludes with Focus Questions, Discussion Focus Questions, Community Challenge, and Prayer Builder sections. A bonus 14th session provides "Guidelines for being saved."

Endorsements

"Thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the Lord's Prayer through the life, testimony, and practical direction that Thompson gives us in this work. Excellent read and workbook for someone wanting to not only learn more on how to pray the Lord's Prayer, but to live it. And as his pastor, I can certainly say he lives it."

Author/Artist Review

Author: Daniel Thompson

Tell us a little about yourself.  I feel as though God is telling me to tell others about Jesus Christ through my literary works and music.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I wanted others to realize it is possible to recite words of a prayer and not be in touch with God. We should strive to develop a richer, fuller relationship with the Lord. By having meaning conversation with Him, our prayers can be more intense as we become aware of all the blessings He has in store for us in this life and the next.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  By using my book and writing their responses in it, I hope my readers will not only develop a more meaningful relationship with the Lord, but they will also be leaving a legacy to the heirs as they can read their responses in the book.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  God continues to call me to try to lead others to Christ. My book holds me accountable to others as I try to set an example to others how much more enjoyable life is once we love and live with the Lord.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Tony Dungy and his books on the Uncommon Man have inspired me to sit down and complete this project.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  We all have a purpose and meaning in life, and that specifically is stated in the Great Commission. We are each given a set of gifts and we should use those gifts to lead others to Christ.
