Bishop T. D. Jakes offers clarity, healing, and restoration to a generation of men--both believers and nonbelievers--confused about their purpose, vision, and roles in today's complex culture. He urges men to let Jesus take hold of their limitations and bondages and to come forth into the light of all God has planned for them. Now the book and easy-to-use workbook are combined in one volume for individual study and small group discussion.

I met my husband sowing seed into the harvest. He accepted Jesus Christ and requested/received water baptism so I was under the impression that he wanted to grow in the Lord. He started to pray with me, went to church with me and was reading his Bible. When we married it was almost as though he gave up on growing in his walk with the Lord. We started having marrital problems early in our marriage. I have sought out marriage counselors but I was left doing the homework. I was listening to T.D. Jakes promote this book and decided this may help my husband. To my surprise I was being enlightened and inspired as to the role of the husband to God, wife, family and society. Now, when women ask me, I share the name of this book to those who say that their husband refuses marriage counseling. I never would have known that this book could be such a wonderful tool to the wife or future wife. 'Wisdom is the principal thing, get wisdom; and with all thy getting, get understanding' (amen). God Bless.
