Yvette K.5 Stars Out Of 5Cowboys and Sweet RomanceMarch 26, 2017Yvette K.Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Cowboys, peril, mystery, humor, and a sweet romance. A wonderful continuation of the Cimarron Legacy series. I enjoyed how present the entire Boden clan (including the newest member) is throughout the book, as well as the sweet and somewhat reluctant romance between Justin and Angie.
Best enjoyed in order, I am loving this series and waiting for book 3 will be an exercise in patience. Highly recommended.

The Bodens won't rest until the threat against their ranch is hog-tied and branded so grab your hats for another exciting and entertaining adventure!!!
Without a doubt, Justin Boden has ranching in his blood. Dainty city gal Angie DuPree has him feeling like a bull in a dress shop with her grace and quiet manner.
Y'all are going to enjoy the ride as the entire Boden clan works together to uncover the truth behind the attacks against their family and their ranch... before it's too late. Full of fun and excitement, this series is a must read!!!

LadySnowAngelAge: 18-24Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Fun western mysteryMarch 24, 2017LadySnowAngelAge: 18-24Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have not read No Way Up (book one) yet, and while it would have been helpful to have read it first, I still enjoyed Long Time Gone very much. Plus, I now have an excellent reason to purchase No Way Up, which I have acted upon.
I have read Over The Edge (Kincaid Brides series), and was thrilled to meet grownup Heath Kincaid in the Cimarron Legacy. And now on to Long Time Gone, the book has everything - cowboys, mystery, action, love, and family. Justin Boden is drawn to Angie DuPree, but it is not the right time to make a commitment... or is it? There is so much happening that is outside of his control. Justin has been forced into the leadership role on the family ranch with his father in Denver and his older brother Cole recovering from his recent bullet wound, and while Justin has no problem giving orders no one seems to be listening especially Angie. Speaking of Angie, there is definitely more to her apparent stubbornness than meets the eye. It takes an abduction and a punch from his older brother to open Justin's eyes and heart. But has he waited too long? And does Angie feel the same way? You will have to read Long Time Gone to find out.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review. I was not required to write a positive review and the opinions I have expressed are my own. -
Just Commonly5 Stars Out Of 5Fast paced, funny and action packed. Will stick with you even when it's long time gone!March 17, 2017Just CommonlyQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0"Stop noticing handsome young men..." (59), and handsome men they were! O, men, yes, but cowboys to be more exact with some mad skills! And that is just one of many reasons why Mary Connealy's Long Time Gone, the second full novel of The Cimarron Legacy is just as fun and funny as the first one, No Way Up. With the author's usual humor, we can expect she rubbed off on some of her characters.
It's such a delight to see the characters from the first book make an appearance, and not just short and sweet, but makes convincing supporting characters. Heath may be my favorite character - can't help but laugh when I think of him. I think he's more non-chalant about his humor in this one than the first, but still good, especially when he verbally baits Justin. And speaking of baits, what a story about family always comes first and love defends all. The love story seems to take a back burner to the character development, but it's all relative, since the romance buildup started from the get go. I just love how Angie grew emotionally, as she finds strength to be who she wants to be, a woman of courage to decide for her own, stand up for herself, and know when to surrender to the Lord. She has this quiet strength with a heart of gold that I admire.
The bottom line is, Long Time Gone will stick with you, and you with it until the very last page, and still continue to create amusing thoughts in your head long after its gone from your hands. Action packed with a bit of everything, romance, mystery and a plot that moves. Want to start a new series, definitely give this one a try!

The Cimarron Legacy Series Book Two
Justin Boden's life is stretched right now. His brother, Cole, was shot. His baby sister, Sadie, got married. Pa and Ma are still in Denver at the hospital. And...there is still someone out there trying to kill his family.
Angie DuPree went to the Cimarron Ranch to help the doctor. She never knew a family could be so close. That a big, handsome man like Justin could show such joy and hug his sister. So different than what her life had been.
Great series. Chance Boden had said he wanted all his kids at the ranch. Ends up it may save their lives by having obeyed him. Whoever is after their family is powerful. And has been after the ranch since the death of their grandfather. Looking forward to Cole's story already.
