What a road you will be traveling, fear, determination and hope will be some of them. I have read some of Colleen's books before and really enjoyed them, this one is no different and she shows that you can move on with your life even while facing the fear of death to your loved ones and possible yourself. By the way, I never did figure out who was causing the fear or why until it is revealed. A must read!

I loved most of the the characters in that story and was touched by their struggles, their trust, hope and faith. But: There was definitely too much death and loss in that short time the story tells. That's why I wouldn't recommend that book.

Her characters and story line were flawless. She brings in God and faith into the story which is always a plus for me.
This series is set in Texas at a ranch that rehabilitates horses, and sometimes people. Allie and Rick were well suited and had the right amount of chemistry. I didn't put this book down until I finished it.
Can't wait to read the rest of this series.

Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a cowgirl at heart and love all things western. That extended a bit to the Victorian house we live in. I started writing after the oldest of my younger three brothers was killed in a freak lightning accident, and Randy loved the west. My first story was set on a fort in Wyoming so writing this book was like going home a bit.
What was your motivation behind this project? I love marriage of convenience stories and wanted to try writing one.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I'd love readers to realize that love is a choice! That we have to work at showing love--it's an action verb.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? It was a fresh reminder never to take my wonderful husband for granted!
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Ami McConnell and Erin Healy teach me new things with every book. And my crit partners Kristin Billerbeck, Diann Hunt, Denise Hunter, and Robin Caroll are wonderful helps!
