Tell us a little about yourself. I have been in christian ministry for over 37 years. I am a retired civil engineer and professional land surveyor. I am a divorcee and have two grown daughters from marriages. I am a pastor, speaker and author.
What was your motivation behind this project? After divorcing from a marriage of almost 20 years, I began a new chapter or journey in life in singleness. After years of not dating and then seeking to develop another relationship, I realized that there was something missing. However, I didn't know that many others were in the same boat of what I call the dating carousel. Then when I hit rock bottom in an unhealthy relationship that could of affected my life for years to come, I simply came to my Heavenly Father and asked for help. The Spirit of the Lord began to minister to me that I was in the right place to be prepared for love in my life. This book is for those who are sick and tired of relationship failure and desire to learn, prepare, grow and go beyond where you have previously been. The seasons of loneliness can become the seasons of strengthening and reward you with His gift of love for your life by being prepared.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My hope is that the reader will sense the presence of the Spirit of Love and witness from His guidance in the work of this book that Loneliness is a season to work on one's self for developing a lasting love. We are living in an invisible epidemic of failed relationships. The changes are not to wait for our environment to change but to learn and gain skills, tools and abilities to navigate singleness with a purpose and goal. Loneliness becomes a gift when you can witness the personal growth, strength and knowledge of knowing that you are moving forward and not backward when it some to building a healthy, loving and lasting relationship. This books will assure each reader that our Father in Heaven knows what we need before we even ask.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I have seen the works of His word develop within my own life the courage to recognize that being loving and lovable is rewarding no matter where the relationship goes. The reward is knowing that you are becoming more loving and can practice love each time with another person until the final person appears as your gift from above.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Singleness is a journey not a mad dash. This book is written for those who have experience numerous failed or unhealthy relationships. This is your season for full restoration and watch your love life be reset. Loneliness is a major part of being single. Its not to be ignored but explored by coming to God even as Adam did in the beginning and allowing Him to do His perfect work within you and within another. God is interested in His children's love lives. He wants us to receive His best. Loneliness: God's Gift to the Single will speak to your heart by the words from scriptures that may not have been used before in your life.
