Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  Christian husband and father of three. Served as a bi-vocational pastor for 15 years.

What was your motivation behind this project?  American Christianity isn't lining up with what Jesus taught in the Sermon on the Mount. We need a revival of Christians following Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount if we have any hope of transforming our culture.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  A challenge to read and understand the Sermon on the Mount and a reliance upon the Holy Spirit to help them live lives that line up with Jesus' teaching in the Sermon.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  My faith was transformed. My trust in God grew. I stopped trying to make American culture produce my faith. Began being more personally involved in living my faith in a way that impacts others.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Dietrich Bonhoeffer Russell Moore Carlos Rodriguez Keith Giles

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  We each need to have our faith challenged if we want to continue growing closer to Christ. I'm hoping this book will challenge others, as it did me, to refocus on trusting the Spirit to empower them to walk obedient to what Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount.
