It is a fun and easy to read book that contains a positive message for children, something that is lacking in so many books today.

Christy Lockstein4 Stars Out Of 5August 24, 2010Christy LocksteinThe Berenstain Bears and a Job Well Done by Jan & Mike Berenstain is part of the Living Lights series. First Mia's thoughts: I thought that the book had a good message: Do your chores before you take a break. I didn't know that the Bible talked about work, so it was kind of cool. My favorite pages was when Papa Bear caught Brother and Sister playing baseball, it was funny. Now my review. I was unaware that the Berenstain Bears offered a Christian line of books and was excited to read one. The story is true to the high quality of the original series. The family each has a chore to do for spring cleaning. For Brother, Sister, and Honey that means cleaning up the old playhouse in the backyard, but it's filled with spiders, and they are frightened and decide to just clean the exterior. When they find some baseball equipment, that derails their cleaning effort even further. I appreciated that when Papa discovered their play, he used the Bible to encourage them to work hard and stick to the job. The story is short but with a great message written in language that children will both understand and enjoy.

Molly Edwards,Book Reviews By Buuklvr815 Stars Out Of 5August 23, 2010Molly Edwards,Book Reviews By Buuklvr81My kids loved this book, which I'm glad because it's one that I grew up on when I was younger! YAY! In BB and A Job Well Done, it's full of the colorful illustrations that flow wonderfully with the story and full of a powerful message from God for kids. In typical Brother, Sister, and now Honey bear fashion, they stray from what they are supposed to be doing or what they know is right, but in the end they get a lesson from the Bible about a job well done! I recommend this old family favorite of mine with 5 stars to everyone who has a Sunday school class and children! *This book was provided for review by Zondervan*
