Sadie Robertson, bestselling author and star of Dancing with the Stars, has an important message for her generation: you dont have to be held back by fear, anxiety, or loneliness anymore. In Live Fearless, Sadie takes you on a thrilling personal journey toward power, passion, and purpose as you live at the center of who God created you to be!
I dont know about you, but Im pretty tired of the struggle. You know which one I meanfear, loneliness, not knowing who I am or what Im meant to do. . . . Sound familiar?
I struggled with insecurity, comparison, and isolation for too many years, from thigh gaps to eyebrows to the lifestyles I felt I had to live up to. I was so afraid of being "found out," that everyone in my life would somehow figure out that I was fearful and small and that I struggled to make my faith a reality and to be secure in who I am. It took a major perspective shift from staring at comments on a screen to really digging into the pages of my Bible to see what God actually says about overcoming fear.
Setting aside the fear, anxiety, and comparison to become the joy-filled person God created you to be is exactly what God is inviting you into. To really be seen and known. To be an agent of change by choosing compassion, connection, and acceptance for everyone you come in contact with. Inside this book are ways to find your power, passion, and purposeand reach for your dreams. Plus, there are places to jot down notes, fun lists, practical ways to make changes, and thoughts on how living fearless can change everything.
Are you tired of the awful comparison game? Are you exhausted from trying to keep up, from feeling small and afraid that people will find the real you and be disappointed? There is so much more for you. No matter who you are, where you come from, or what your fears are, freedom is available to you. Its just a matter of saying yes. You in?
Hope youll join me on this wild adventure as we learn to Live Fearless together.

She tells about all of the things she used to be afraid of, so afraid that she almost let fear keep her from doing some amazing and God-honoring things. She tells how God worked in her heart through His Word, her family, life experience, and great mentors to set her free from fear. She encourages her readers to learn to live fearless as well.
I love her style. She doesn't talk down to her readers. She simple explains each idea in an easy to understand way and cheers her readers on to join her in this worthwhile quest for fearlessness. She uses a few quirky, and therefore memorable, analogies to make great points. She bases everything she says on Bible Truth. She closes by inviting those who don't yet know Jesus to pray for salvation and guides those who do into the next steps they need to take in order to grow in faith. She also provides a list of Bible verses for memory that speak of choosing to live fearless.
I enjoyed reading her story and considering her ideas. Her message is relevant to every age, even though older teens and young adults are her primary audience. I'm excited to hand this book over to my daughter! Thomas Nelson Publishers sent me a complimentary copy, so I could share my thoughts with you. I recommend this read.

Sadie is very open about her own her struggles with insecurity, comparison, and isolation, thus making this publication very powerful and personal. Her experiences, while traumatic and heart wrenching, will transform those who read her words and walk through her experiences.
I was particularly touched by chapter 8, which is entitled: Pick Your Partner. In this chapter, Sadie shares her feelings about the numerous negative comments that were thrown her way while on Dancing With The Stars. To help her during this time, she asked herself the three powerful questions; Whose voice is the loudest in my life? Whose lead is the strongest in my life? Whats my idea of winning?
Sadie states that these three questions were, incredibly important in the development and identity of my faith. These same questions, if taken seriously, can have a powerful impact on every Christians life.
This is an amazing publication. It needs to find its way into the hands of anyone struggle with their Christian identity, even those whose lives appear to be a clear path at the moment, thus it is a recommended purchase.

Susan Barrett5 Stars Out Of 5Exceeds Expectations: Raw, Honest and PracticalFebruary 20, 2018Susan BarrettQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Live Fearless by Sadie Robertson...where do I even start? This book swept me off my feet. I know it takes a lot of courage to be vulnerable, and this book was full of vulnerability from Sadie about times she was afraid and how she overcame fear.
I loved everything about this book! I was afraid it was going to be a nice concept without much practical application, but Sadie made it personal and relatable and it really hit close to home for me. I really appreciated her personal testimonies and revelations of what God spoke to her.
Having followed Sadie for several years now, I did recognize many things in the book from previous messages she's said, but it was good to read them again and see how it all connected for her personally. Some of my favorite parts of the book included her messages about plankton, connect the dots, and the real verses true comparisons. Sadie got SO REAL in this book and I know that it will be freeing for so many people!
At the end of each chapter, she had questions, challenges, Scriptures, prayers, and journalling opportunities to help make the concept presented in the chapters personalized and applicable to the reader. I highly recommend this to people of pretty much any age. I believe this book will really make an impact on those who are willing to answer some tough questions about themselves.

AmyL4 Stars Out Of 5Live FearlessJanuary 26, 2018AmyLQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5In reading Live Fearless, I was reminded once again of the fact that we really don't get to see what's going on inside a person. Especially when we see them on "reality" TV or through social media. Robertson shares how she has battled some serious issues in her life as a result of fear. She's had to push through the fear and learn how to live fearlessly based on truth in scripture.
Live Fearless is the perfect book for a teenager who might be struggling right now with fear. I wasn't the target audience. But there was still plenty for me to glean from the message Robertson shares within these pages. She writes a genuine message that shares her heart for others to find freedom like she has.
Robertson may not have set out to be a role model for young girls. But she is filling in that role quite well. She's sharing the message God has given her.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley. This review is my own, honest opinion.
