JKluttz5 Stars Out Of 5Butterfly GardenMay 31, 2016JKluttzQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0I ordered 3 of these to keep on hand for gifts for grandchildren. They arrived in a few days and were just what I ordered.
Mandy Duffy4 Stars Out Of 5Great Educational ToolMay 27, 2016Mandy DuffyQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4My only complaint is that although the caterpillars were "free," I had to pay $7.95 for shipping. The company tried to convince me to upgrade and pay more, but I chose not to. The caterpillars arrived alive and well. All 5 became butterflies. The website to order the caterpillars was difficult to use. But the butterfly house itself was good quality.

Dianne Szwedo5 Stars Out Of 5Great project for a science fair!February 25, 2016Dianne SzwedoQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5If you do this project in cold weather or want to teach a full life cycle, Insect Lore will sell you additional larvae food for a second generation (do this right away because by the time you get the food you will be close to needing it). With a little research and a visit to your favorite florist for the appropriate flowers and leaves, you can breed a second generation in the habitat. The adult butterflies only live a short time and will breed readily with each other, lay eggs, and then will die. The project brought my children and now my grandchildren to a simple understanding of life and death with the hope for and reality of the next generation.
Gay Waterstradt5 Stars Out Of 5Fun for all agesJune 24, 2015Gay WaterstradtQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I bought this for my niece's children. When I worked in the Montessori school, we did this every spring with our students. Great way to explain being born-again in Christ to little ones, from caterpillars to butterflies! My niece's children are releasing the butterflies in two more days and are so excited!
