Author Bio

Kaitlyn DiPerna is an award-winning writer, developer, and editor of all kinds of children’s books. Kaitlyn has authored everything from young adult art and craft titles to school textbooks, and children’s chapter books to board books for toddlers. Originally from Boston, where she earned a degree in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College, Kaitlyn has spent the last ten years on the West Coast, chasing the surf and the snow. Jenna Riggs grew up in Oregon and attended the University of the Pacific where she earned a BFA in graphic design. After working for Quark, Inc., she opened Jenna Riggs Collaborative in 1997. Her clients include a wide variety of non-profits, corporations, publishers and small businesses. In addition to being a well-rounded designer, she is also an illustrator, and her work can be found in children’s books and products. She lives on Vashon Island, a short ferry ride from Seattle, with her husband and two daughters.
