Memoria Press’ Lingua Angelica Christian Latin reading and translation course uses Latin hymns and prayers with simple sentences as the ideal starting point for beginning Latin translation.  The Lingua Angelica 1 Student Book Third Edition is the first course in the program and provides vocabulary drills, parsing, interlinear translation, and grammar word study exercises. Lingua Angelica 1 covers all 4 Latin prayers and 12 of the Latin hymns and is designed for all ages, so even preschoolers can learn to sing and memorize Latin hymns.
