He is the Founding Guardian of the international Community of Aidan and Hilda (a dispersed inter-church movement which is also an Acknowledged Anglican Community). Ray is an Anglican priest who was commissioned to work for Free and Roman Catholic churches in a unique experiment. He has authored over 30 books of contemporary worship, Celtic spirituality and prophetic challenge. He lectures and offers leaders' retreats in several continents and on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.
