Daniel L Carter4 Stars Out Of 5January 11, 2010Daniel L CarterFrom the first page the authors draw you into each of the character both mentally an phyisically. Throw in the mystery of the grandmother's past and you find yourself turning the pages with urgency. Also remarkable is the innocence of the 60's and the Christian faith which are captured beautifully. I can see this being a must have for the advid reader.
Susan Frenz5 Stars Out Of 5May 4, 2009Susan FrenzI can't wait to read the sequel! I loved the emotional journey this book took me on. One moment I wanted to cry and the next I was laughing at Eva Jo's antics. Among other things this book inspired me to keep in touch with my two sisters. The relationship between sisters in this family is heartwarming.I love historical fiction and "Like A Bird Wanders" stayed true to the history of the locations in which the story takes place. When is the sequel coming? I want to know what happens next!
Paula5 Stars Out Of 5April 22, 2009PaulaI absolutely loved "Like a Bird Wanders"! It caused me to laugh, cry, ponder, reflect, pray, praise, and give thanks to our amazing Lord for His faithfulness! Thanks for the incredible journey! I will be getting another copy soon to give away as a gift.
Heidi Gardner5 Stars Out Of 5March 11, 2009Heidi GardnerI just finished Like a Bird Wanders last night. It is a wonderful story about how despite our mistakes, and our tendency to "wander" from God's desires for what is best in our lives, He still loves us, and will always love us. My favorite line in the story is on page 225, and it is really the message throughout the entire book, "Everything that happens to us, by choice or circumstance, God will use for good, if we let HIm."

Tell us a little about yourself. I am a country gal at heart, though recently moved back to the city. When I'm not writing, I love to watercolor and spend time with my family and friends. I'm deeply committed to the sanctity of life and consider that a top priority of ministry, always. I have a new interest in photography since getting a digital camera, and find subject matter everywhere around me. My two granddaughters are the highlight of my life and keep me young and on my toes.
What was your motivation behind this project? When God gives you a story, he wants it told. So, in obedience, we wrote it.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My heart's desire is to have people come away from reading "Like a Bird Wanders," with a deeper hope and faith in the living God. He is ever faithful and ever present in the day to day details of our lives, and I believe this book shows that.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Working with Linda Reinhardt, and Rosanne Croft as writing "sister" brought us closer together as sisters in the Lord. I personally worked through some grief issues in my own life. Isn't God good?
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I find inspiration everywhere. I'm an avid reader since childhood, and have always had "ideas" bouncing around in my head for stories. I cannot not write! Music is another source of inspiration for me and I'm deeply moved by many different genres.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Reality Fiction/TM Faith meets imagination, is my commitment to telling the truth in love. Since there are no "pat" answers in life, you won't find them in my books. However, God is faithful and just and I will always portray Him as such.
