This book was recommended by our Christian marriage counselor. We both thought this book was very well-written with practical insight as to WHY you act and think like you do when you grow up in a family that may have alcoholism or mental illness or other addictions. The authors give many ideas for what to DO, not just more theory to understand. Easy to read and put into practice. Your parents may not have been alcoholic, but if you find yourself with poor boundaries and relationship issues, you will find this book helpful. Read this book for your own children! You may be repeating unhealthy patterns without realizing it!
