It's set up for the student to do all of the work on their own. If that's what you're wanting then I suppose it's fine. But I thought it was rather inconvenient to go back through and check all of my daughter's answers, and then if she wasn't getting it I had to take her back through all of it, and by then she was bored with the information. I ended up going through them with her and had much better luck with it, but if I'm going to do that, then I'd rather use a more involved curriculum which teaches at a little higher level. The language is at a second grade level, which isn't really too inspiring for me to read through with her. It bores me too. I am using something else next year. I just think this is pretty basic. There is certainly valuable information to be learned, but I just don't really like the format. However, I'm sure some people would. For a kid who likes to learn on their own, it would probably be useful. However, if you want to be more involved as the parent, you probably won't be a big fan of this.
