Lifepac Electives Accounting Complete Set

I know I've said it before, but I hate algebra. Once I got through algebra, there was no way I was going to move into any higher math programs, so I decided to try accounting. Having used quite a few of the LIFEPAC subjects previously, I returned to this program. The complete set includes 10 workbooks and an answer key, making it a full year of high school math.

The first book introduces accounting and gives a brief overview of what students will be learning. Each consecutive book covers different aspects, such as ledgers, payroll, taxes, and much more. Each concept has corresponding practice work sheets, as well as extra credit projects. The final book is a business simulation where students must put into practice everything they've learned through the year.

It was probably the most enjoyable math class I did the entire time I was in school. It's great preparation if you plan on going into accounting or business in college-but even if it’s not in your lifelong plan for a career, accounting is still a great skill to have. Grades 7 and up. -- Rebekah
