Tell us a little about yourself. Hollie Lynn enjoys teaching God's Word to children. She has authored writings to include assisted a new author with her book. Most recently, Hollie authored, "A DAY IN THE LIFE WITH HENLEY and Her PETS." This book is mostly a real-life, story portraying what happens even in scary situations when we trust and believe God, and it shows how God demonstrates His love for us.
What was your motivation behind this project? The story behind this book: For years, Hollie thought of the possibility of someday writing a children's book about God's love and His plan for our lives. The inspiration for this book came from her granddaughter Henley's pet dog, Keleigh. The real-life story in this book started one day when Hollie let Keleigh go outside in the backyard. Keleigh often barks at and chases squirrels. While watching her run after the squirrels, as they ran through the trees, Hollie had the idea that maybe she should write a book about Keleigh. Soon after, the idea grew to adding Henley and their time together and Henley's cat, Buddy. We hope you enjoy reading, "A DAY IN THE LIFE WITH HENLEY and Her PETS."
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Looking for a way to share more about God with children and help them develop a relationship with Jesus? A DAY IN THE LIFE WITH HENLEY and Her PETS is an exciting and adventurous, mostly real-life, story portraying what happens when we trust and believe God even in the scariest situations and how God demonstrates His love for us. Great for children to learn more about God and the Bible and to develop a relationship with Jesus. Children of all ages will enjoy this book.
