Written for women who want to know how to love God with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength, this eight-week study takes a look at Biblical characters who succeeded in loving God completely, and some who did not. Participants learn to discern differences between simply loving God with some affections and loving Him wholly. Interwoven throughout the study is the invitation to embrace how deeply readers are loved by the Father and to reject the notion that loving God completely is impossible.

Interwoven throughout the study is the invitation to embrace how deeply readers are loved by the Father and to reject the notion that loving God completely is impossible for real women with very real shortcomings. Inspired to reach beyond themselves toward the Fathers hand, women will gain a deeper understanding of what their lives could be like loving God with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Today Cheri operates Beyond Ordinary Ministries, encouraging women through writing and speaking events to abandon comfortable lives of mediocrity to experience the extraordinary life Jesus desires. Cheri lives in Temple, Texas, with the man of her dreams, Chad, and with their eight children (Taylor, Addison, Jolee, Sophia, Zoe, Chloe, Tate and Zack), his dogs and her cats.
Jill Shelton5 Stars Out Of 5New InsightJuly 14, 2016Jill SheltonQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is a Bible study that is complete, backed up by Scripture and easy to read. That being said, it is also real. Cheri gets real with her readers. She reveals personal stories, life lessons, and lifes hardships that bring her right back to Gods blessings and glory. She admits how difficult and tangled life can be, but then shows us how God brings her through and loves her to the place shes supposed to be.
After completing this study I feel like Cheri is a good friend. Her writing style is like sitting down with an old friend and talking about our lives. This study has brought me a new sense of who I am in God and a clearer path to experiencing the love God has for me.
I received this book at no cost in exchange for a review. I was not required to offer a positive review nor was I compensated for my review.
amybee85 Stars Out Of 5A Challenge to Go DeeperJuly 13, 2016amybee8Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I first heard of this Bible Study through my YouVersion Bible App, which was a 10 day Bible Study. What was unique about the study, was that you had the opportunity to watch an excerpt of her teaching each day which really allowed the study to come to life. I thoroughly enjoyed the study on the YouVersion app, but I felt that it was just an appetizer to the main course of the book study.
There are several things that I liked about Cheri's style. The first being that she is just "real" and doesn't try to hide her insecurities or her life's struggles. Too often in Christian circles we say what we think we should say, which only allows our faith to be shallow. Cheri's open and honest approach coupled with the study material, challenges us to have a faith that is deep.
Secondly, I truly appreciate how all of the Bible verses are written in RED. This is just helpful when you want to go back and review the verses because they are much easier to see at a glance.
Lastly, I am grateful that her study isn't written in a way that tiptoes around issues, but guides the reader through the questions to take a good look at their heart to expose what is really there in order to grow into maturity. It is an "in your face" approach but not offensive. You will not grow in your faith just by "reading" this study, but be warned that if you truly "engage" in this study 100%, you will grow in your intimacy with the Lord.
If we don't understand how God loves us lavishly, how do we think we will be able to truly live out the greatest commandment and love Him and others with the same love? Be ready to receive love in order to give love.
Thank you, Cheri, for your candidness, your stories, and your unashamed love for Jesus!
