Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  I'm a senior attending Liberty University out of Lynchburg, VA pursuing a career in pastoral leadership.

What was your motivation behind this project?  The concept stemmed from a conversation that I had with God some years ago. I asked for a "Ruth" but He later showed me how I do not have a "Ruth" waiting for me because I am not like Boaz. Instead, I would be more like Jacob and I'd have a Rachel.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  This is a book of hope and faith in action in light of God's promises. I pray that readers are encouraged in their own faith journey and begin to put into action to attain that which they do not see (Hebrews 11:1).

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  My faith was tested greatly. When I began writing, I assumed that my "Rachel" would be right around the corner... 4 years later I see more and more that things happen in God's timing only but His promise keeps me going.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  I am impacted greatly by a few special people that God has placed in my life: Pastor Dan B. Island and Brother Brandon Roger have been a constant source of encouragement. They are true examples of what a man, father, and leader should be.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  Your legacy is not about moments where experiences impact your lives. It is about lives that use their experiences to impact each moment.
