I loved the concept of this book but it wasn't processive enough. It should be in the pre-school and kindergarten section. With this book i didn't feet my child would be able to return back to school next year and be at the same level. I had to buy new math curriculum.

i saw a few reviews of this curriculum on youtube and finally just broke down and bought it. What a great choice, it is perfect for my daughter who loves animals, it is easy for her though with math but she needed to work on reading so its a good fit to push her.

I love this course for each of my boys! They are enjoying it so much compared to another math curriculum. Thank you MasterBooks for a wonderful course!

I am so frustrated with this curriculum. The year prior we used Abeka for math and absolutely loved it. Friends raved we needed to try this so we gave it a go and I'm kicking myself for it. I wasted time and money. We can't even use this because of how easy it is. I kept thinking it was review from pre-k and kindergarten but nope. And there's so much reading on the parents part it gets irritating when you have more than one kid you're schooling. Almost the whole book goes over place value and has a ton of "projects" that build throughout the book. There wasn't any of this in Abeka and she learned the concepts just fine without all the fluff.

Overall the materials are nice but would consider this for a 3-4-year-old preschooler or possibly struggling kindergarten-aged child, not a 1st grader. The concepts were stuff he already learned and knew from preschool and kindergarten (that ended 2.5 months early to boot due to COVID). I tried to use it anyway, only used a few pages and the manipulatives in the back. I wished I hadn't and could return.
