Legalism and the Sins of the Church

This book is the doctoral dissertation of the Reverend L. Roger Sockwell, a pastor since 1975. He has studied in five different universities and seminaries and served churches in six different denominations in many different settings and in various parts of the country. This unusual diversity has given him broad and unique insights into a great evil which poisons every type of church: Legalism. The bottom line is this: "Where is the joy God intended for His children?" The answers are to be found in this thorough scriptural diagnosis of the sins of the church, and of the antidotes, which he calls "attitudes required by grace."
