Camp5 Stars Out Of 5LED Advent CandlesJanuary 5, 2017CampQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love these candles. I had purchased some a few years ago for the 150 year old church that I was attending. The safety was the first reason for the purchase. This year I purchased 2 more sets one for myself at home and the other for a gift.
Lynn4 Stars Out Of 5Decent candlesDecember 31, 2014LynnI didn't use these candles too much as they were used in a chapel for Sunday worship. They are a bit flimsy, but worked in my setting. I will be certain to remove the batteries prior to storing them for next year.

I ordered two sets...first set had a broken "flame" off of one of the candles and two of the other three didn't turn on even though I used brand new batteries. One of them did work though and I was very excited to see how nice it looked. The candles are dipped in wax and have the effect at the top like dripping wax...both way cool in the way of realism. The only thing I didn't like completely was the "flame" was deep and bright orange (unrealistic), a much lighter orange, yellow, or even warm white would've been much better. However, I would've overlooked that bc of the very realistic flicker flame. However, I couldn't use only one candle...I needed all four to be fully functional for my advent wreath. So, I thought I would go for a replacement box. When I got them, I excitedly put them into my freshly created advent wreath and the first part of my Christmas decorations. I was pleased to see all candles intact/undamaged. Three of the candles worked perfectly...but wouldn't you know it, the pink candle didn't light!!! I was furious. It was the first Sunday in advent and I couldn't light my wreath with my family! This would've been the first year my kids were old enough to enjoy and respect an advent wreath so I was really looking forward to teaching them about the coming of Christ's birth through the wreath and lighting of the four candles (but wanted battery operated still bc real taper candles are still too dangerous with a four and five year old). So, at this point, I didn't even try to order yet another pack. I will not have candles to light this year. I am not criticizing ChristianBooks though...they had VERY excellent customer support...this particular product was just a dud. Maybe I got the worst two packs ever made...but if you order this, you are taking the chance of getting a defective operation.
