I am in my first week with this book. I am doing fairly well. I know the first three letters in the course, plus two of the vowel symbols. I had to put myself in first grade mode, and approach this teaching as a small child, which has been a long time for me. I have been writing the block form of the characters, and sounding the letters out. I am happy with the book, just be careful when looking online, and in other books, it can be overwhelming looking at some of the more advanced stuff! Take it one step at a time! Just approach your study as when you first began to read and write, but without the tantrums.
