In his book The Law and the Saint, Pink claims that our age is an age of lawlessness. As Pink worked in churches, homes, and communities, the contemporary evangelist witnessed an increasing disrespect for the Divine Law. Why has creation drifted so far away from the moral law which the Creator placed upon us? By expositing Scripture, Pink demonstrates the ways in which the moral law binds us as rational creatures and as Christians. Several passages in the New Testament reveal that this connection between creation to Creation is lasting--even today, God commands that we obey his law. Even though the Ten Commandments may sometimes seem inapplicable in today's fast-paced world, Pink reminds us that God's law is timeless. It is Pink's hope that one day all Christians will be able to say, The Law of Thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver...O how love I Thy law! It is my meditation all the day. -Emmalon Davis, CCEL Staff Writer

By the Law of God, Pink is speaking of the 10 commandments and not all the ceremonial laws. Further, he clears up our flawed understanding between the Law and grace. Pink states that there are 3 positions Believers take. First, that sinners become saints by obeying the Law. Second, that the Law is a rule of life for believers. Third, that the Law has nothing whatever to do with believers today. The first position being salvation by works; the second position says that the Law shows all believers a standard of conduct we are to obey, and the third position is said to be Antinomianismlawlessness, a repudiation of Gods governmental authority. Pink teaches us that God commands Believers to obey His Law and he teaches us that God's Law is timeless and applicable to all Christians throughout all Church history.
