Latina Christiana Student Book 1 (4th Edition)

Latina Christiana I is a great first foray into Latin for younger students! Designed for children in grades 3-6, Cheryl Lowe's clear explanations, easy instructions, and step-by-step approach have helped teachers and students learn to love Latin.

This student book is designed to be used by a teacher using the Latina Christiana I Teacher Manual (not included and sold-separately) and cannot be used independently.

This student book includes 25 lessons and 5 review lessons; each includes a grammar form, 10 vocabulary words per lesson with corresponding English derivatives and Latin sayings. Students will learn to translate phrases, learn about grammar, complete sentences with the appropriate derivative, conjugate verbs, decline nouns, and more. An optional history component (drill questions and a history test) is designed to be used with the Famous Men of Rome reading selections (not included).

Designed for teachers with no background in Latin. After completing this course, students will be ready to move into the Memoria Press "First Form Latin" series.
