John5 Stars Out Of 5The 5 Love LanguagesJune 23, 2016JohnQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My wife and I have been married 40 years and counting. We know each other fairly well but we still found a great deal of insight in this book and DVD. Many time after spending a life together things become expected and mundane. It was refreshing to be reminded of the way we show each other we love them. It was helpful to remember love is giving to our spouses needs and not satisfying our needs. For us after 40 year we did not find revelation in the 5 Love Languages, but revitalization and affirmation of what we have been doing together. Christ is always our first love and he holds our second love in high esteem and so should we. I especially recommend this for younger married couples as in todays world they are taught " What have you done for me Lately". This book shows what is important for a long term relationship is what have you done for your spouse lately and every day.
