A traditional natural science program, this curriculum from Landmark's Freedom Baptist Curriculum provides students a study of insects, birds, and animals.
In this grade 2 course, students will learn about wasps, butterflies, moths, grasshoppers, hummingbirds, beetles, jellyfish, starfish, and other creatures.
Two textbooks are included, one for each semester. Each week has five daily lessons; for lessons 1-3, children read a short lesson written directly to them, and afterwards answer fill-in-the-blank or multiple choice comprehension questions. For Lesson 4, there is usually a drawing or art-based activity. Lesson 5 is reserved for the weekly quiz.
Quizzes are provided in a separate packet; a quiz answer key and studyguide answer key are also provided.
