Tell us a little about yourself. I have served in the US Navy for 10 years and currently still serve. I have three deployments with the Navy to Afghanistan and Iraq. I have been a Christian now for 17 years, and just like any Christian, I've had my ups and downs. In faith comes experience, and with experience comes a deeper level of faith. However, after I had moved to the point of diligently seeking God, my life has been blessed beyond what words can express. I am a member of Exceed Life Church, serving God through serving others. Lastly, my goal is to heed my calling set forth by God, sharing His word with people around the world. It is through this that I can truly step into my role as a disciple of Christ.
What was your motivation behind this project? My motivation was just the fact that I willingly listened to God and sought out what role He wanted me to fill. After seeking Him is when He revealed to me that I was to write and share with the world.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? It is my hope and prayer that the readers of this book find and develop a deeper intimate relationship with God.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Working on this book, I grew closer to God in my relationship with Him. Additionally, He had revealed to me more understanding of His word through writing this book.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? God is my influence, since He is the One who laid it on my heart to write on His behalf in efforts of bringing others closer to Him.
