Tell us a little about yourself. Hello readers, I am in fact the author of this series. I started writing this series living in New Mexico. I wrote this series for God the Father and my Lord and Savior. There was never an outline, I let the Lord lead me each time I sat at the computer. I want to thank those of you who have bought the books and are waiting for me to finish the sixth and final book for the series. I have always admired the way the Amish and Mennonite care for the elderly. The parents live with one of their kinner (children). It has been a pleasure creating each of the characters and telling their story. We always go through trials no matter if we are a Christian or not. What does matter is how we handle ourselves through the trials we are dealt. God never gives us more than we can bare.
What was your motivation behind this project? I love the Lord with all my heart and wanted to write this series to please my Lord and Savior. It is also my hearts desire to become a well known author.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I pray that just one person would come to saving grace because this series touched their heart.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? God always has a lesson for us to learn from a project such as this series. I believe it has only strengthened my walk with Christ.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Pastor Bob Ortega of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Mary Bob's beautiful wife. She also taught the woman in Calvary Chapel Las Cruces, N. M. My friends Annie and Ron were also a big influence in my writing this series.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I would like the readers to know I am working on the sixth and final book of the series. I want it to be an ending they won't soon forget. I would love it if some of my readers would email me about how they would like to see the series end. I can't tell them I will use their ideas, but one never knows. The reader might have ideas for me I just can't pass up. God bless all of you. I pray you have enjoyed the books thus far. In Jesus Agape love, Patty Stansell
