This is a good source for teaching new Christians. Information is very deep at times, but stretches the mind. Good choice of topics.

Raised in a Roman Catholic family, religion was more about following rules than knowing God personally. After turning my back on faith for almost 20 years, I am happy to say that I have recently been reborn - praise God for not turning HIS back on ME!!!This series of books is perfect for someone like me who never learned the basics as a child. I don't think I had ever actually read a bible, despite going to church every Sunday. For me, starting with the basics has been exactly what I needed. Thus far I have read "Knowing God", "Growing as a Christian", "Knowing the Bible", and I am just finishing off "Bible Prophecy". I am not a big reader, and rarely finish books that I begin. These books, however, are very easy to read, very informative, with lots of neat little facts, quotes, and stories integrated into each chapter. It's hard to put them down once I get started! They may be a little basic for those who already know a lot about the faith, and I wouldn't call them "indepth". But they are a wonderful starting point..... and Bruce and Stan provide a list of suggested books at the end of each chapter if you want to delve a little deeper into a particular subject. I give these books the highest recommendation..... and can't wait to read them all!
