In this booklet, the very first book description, Genesis, used these unsettling choice of words:

    1. "The Bible's first book... simply *ASSUMES* He (God) is..."

    2. "...Genesis introduces the *CONCEPT* of one God..."

    3. "...a *CONCEPT* called the Trinity..."

Sorry, but: (1) God is not an "assumption," He is a FACT; (2) One God in 3 Persons is not a "concept" but is a Biblical FACT; and (3) the Trinity is not a "concept," but is also a Biblical FACT.

And that was just in the first two pages! What other "subtil" (KJV for "Subtle" - aka crafty) words might be found in the rest of this booklet that could undermine the unsaved getting saved, &/or "build a house on sand" for the unlearned "babe in Christ"?

No thanks. I'll keep looking for another similar product that clearly states the Truths in God's Word as the FACTS they are & not as mere "assumptions" & "concepts."

The book is about 95 pages long, and each book of the Bible is typically covered on one page. There are seven questions answered on each book: Author, date written, summary in ten words or less, brief details that make the book unique, one or more well-known quotes from the book, an unusual fact about the book, and a "so what?" which usually tells the purpose of the individual book. While this is not a deep study (obviously cannot be in only 95 pages), it does contain useful information that would be helpful to anyone, and particularly those who teach or preach and who may want to bring out a few useful details about their topic. I find this little book to be well worth the money, and I like to give these out to new converts in our church. It helps new Bible readers to get a feel for what they will be reading in their Bible. It is always appreciated. At this price, it is good to stock up and have them ready to share!

A fantastic reference for ALL Bible believers - easy to read and concise. I gave one to every member of our church and I could do this because the price was very reasonable! Thank you.

I have a concordance ect but it can be somewhat to much for me when it goes on and on 2 1/2 pages later and I drift off the point (to many dates and times/T.L). I love "Know Your Bible"! This book is not a ton of overwhelming information but enough to help me understand who, what, why etc... I have bought many of these to share with others. I also put them in my Sunday school 5th graders graduation bags before they head to teen youth group. I think this book is just enough information for them to understand more of the point of God's word.

I absolutely LOVE this handy little book, which I read before I begin a chapter of reading the Bible, and it gives an overview of author's name, time written, synopsis, key things to take note of, etc. It's easy to pop into your purse and read itself! Buy several for small gifts for your friends!
