'I would not classify this as a "Study Bible" but more as a "Devotional Bible." I have had a number of weeks to spend time with this Bible. When I read it I almost feel like I am being mentored by Charles Haddon Spurgeon aka "The Prince of Preachers.: If you know of Spurgeon and like him, you will love this Bible. If you are not familiar with Spurgeon you will find yourself in for a treat! There's a reason he is called the "Prince" of preachers. His knowledge of the Bible intertwined with his brilliance with the English language is what makes him so readable and enjoyable. Also, I bought the black leather edition (which I like). It feels flexible yet solid. And for the price this Bible is amazing! The print is very bold and easy to read. I look forward to delving into Scripture with Spurgeon mentoring me along the way. This is definitely a keeper!

I love this Bible!!

Though the text appears to be King James, it was disheartening to see they altered some of Spurgeons comments to bring them up to date. I also expected the genuine leather to of finer quality.

This bible feels great and has some very nice quotes from Charles Spurgeon in it. It is formatted similar to a regular study bible, but the "footnotes" are from Spurgeon's sermons and writings, as applicable. It's thin and light enough to carry. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
