This is a very nice version of the KJV the notes are in hand written style, if you have difficulty reading calligraphy you might have trouble with them but overall i enjoy reading the notes.

Love this Spurgeon Study Bible! Don't listen to the few negative commenters. This is a gem of a study Bible. You feel as if Spurgeon is sitting beside you, giving you fresh insights into the Scriptures. It's at a great price too! BTW, I got the genuine leather and it is NOT cheap or like bonded leather as one commenter claimed!

Soooo disappointed in this Bible. It promises a lot but falls way short. I'm a huge Spurgeon fan, but there are very few pages with Spurgeon's own writing. Most of it seems to be typeset and in the footnotes but even that it is hard to follow. You're betting off just reading his sermons. Sad to say, but it seems like the editors just used Spurgeon's name to promote their sales. I agree with other reviews about the quality of the leather--for a "genuine leather" Bible, the quality is very poor. It feels more like a bonded leather.
