Price3 Stars Out Of 5It's okay but not idealAugust 23, 2021PriceI wanted a newer KJV Bible and with giant print like my previous one. I ordered this one and it's not a bad Bible but it has some issues. The print is too light. It really needed to be darker. That's the biggest issue. You can also see the letters of the other side of the page. I guess since the paper is so thin that's why they kept the print lighter so it didn't bleed so much. This could have been solved by having a bit thicker paper. Also, the giant print words are 17 point, which sounds good but 16 point is much easier to read. These 17 point words are more narrow than what you would expect. I'm 51 and my vision just started to dip last year. All of these things I described make it a difficult read. So I just took a drive to Walmart and found the last KJV on the shelf and with a nicer cover along with 16 point giant and much darker print. When you consider the shipping I paid on here, I actually paid the exact amount for a much nicer Bible at Walmart.

Jules1 Stars Out Of 5KJV Super Giant Print Reference Bible, Imitation leather, black , Hendrickson PublishersJune 27, 2021JulesThe large print is great but the seepage of ink from one side of a printed page to the other makes gives the text an appearance of being blurry. This counters the ease of reading that I expected when I purchased this bible.
Einar1 Stars Out Of 5Narrow and tall lettersJune 24, 2021EinarThis Bible was for me a disappointment. The Bible itself is very nice, nice cover, nice paper, nice gilding, really nice end sheets, nice binding with text nicely aligned on the page - not disappearing into the gutter, nice headings, in-verse references, and the letters are really large with 17 point size. But there's something about the text that still makes it not easy to read. To save space I guess, they have made the letters narrow and tall and the letters are not easy on the eye. The text seems busy in a way. I have bibles with small font that seem easier to read than this. The experience with this Bible was for me an eye opener to the relation between letter form and readability.
WilliamFPowersSouthwest OhioAge: 55-65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5A Great BuyJune 5, 2021WilliamFPowersSouthwest OhioAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4I ordered this Bible for myself but after it arrived, I saw how helpful it would be to a sight-challenged friend so I gave it to her and ordered another one for myself. This Bible has huge 17-point type. At 96 points to an inch, that makes capital letters in this Bible almost a fifth of an inch high. I normally need reading glasses but not with this Bible. I can read it very easily with no glasses. One note might be helpful: Since the print is so large, the book has extra pages and is bigger than most Bibles and not as easy to carry around as a smaller volume. Additionally, to reduce the size of the book the pages are quite thin; I need to moisten my fingers to turn individual pages. Having said that, those drawbacks are minimal when considered next to the readability of the text.
