If you're buying this Bible, it clearly is for the size of the font. Aside from that, the cover is a a plastic feeling one percent rubberized rigid cover, not as plastic as the economy Bibles by any means, but still 'cheap' would describe it best. The pages are a bright white. They are thin, but you can still read the scriptures with ease without seeing the page behind too much to be a distraction. This font size is awesome. I think ALL Bibles should come with this font size as a standard. Let's be honest. Nobody truthfully enjoys microscopic font sizes under 10 unless they enjoy using microscopes to read their Bibles. This however is NOT a reference Bible. This could be considered a Bible with a 'few references' but in no way would I say it is a 'reference Bible'. Compare it to other reference Bibles and you'll see right away that it lacks incredibly in referring you to other scriptures. If you want a reference Bible, this really is not the option for you. If you're looking for FONT SIZE 10,000. I approve.

I have problems seeing, so the large print reduces eye fatigue. I am so happy with this interpretation of the Bible. I use it along with several others, including my Greek-Hebrew lexicon, to understand the deeper meanings in God's word.
