I am so disappointed in this bible. First the font, although its super giant print its so light that I can barely see it clearly. Looking through it I found the layout quite odd. Then when I went to the back of the bible to the dictionary part oh my gosh, I found words there that are not even in the scriptures like Christmas, ash Wednesday, ave Maria, benediction, Catholic etc. and the meaning they give to mostly all the words are so wrong, what a disappointment. I will assume that this is a bible for Catholics, I am not. Nowhere in their description does it say that this bible is for Catholics. I don't give it any stars.

When i took this Bible out of the box i was very surprised at the quality. Most $20.00 Bibles are of much lesser quality. Hendrickson did a fantastic job creating a good quality Bible at a super affordable price. What initially drew me to this Bible was the super giant print. The text is very clean, easy to read, and the type is very consistent. Even the red lettering looked great. i feel that Hendrickson really found a great shade of red. It is very easy on the eyes to read, and just looks very good. The paper quality was quite nice as well. It is a little thicker than the average Bible paper. There is minimal ghosting. The cover option i went with was the brittish tan color. I really love the color and look of the cover. It is a paste down liner construction, but seems to be very well made. It has a nice decorative family record page, and presention page. I really love when publishers add the family record page, because i enjoy keeping my family tree in my bible to pass down to my kids. All and all i really feel Hendrickson did a great job on this Bible. it is well worth the asking price. i would highly recomend it to anyone who needs a large print bible, and one that is of good quality with a low price tag.

The letter size is giant as advertised but the print is very light, too light, unacceptable light. The fact that the printing on the back of the pages bleed through makes the matter worse. I would not recommend this Bible to anyone who has any type of impaired vision. I have never come across a Bible with such light printing. I will be returning this Bible. I'm very disappointed.

The Bible was for my husband, who has a hard time reading tiny little words, and even the giant print Bible I brought for him, the words were too small. This Bible was perfect, he can actually see the words when he reads comfortably. We love the Lord and thank you Christian Book for providing us with the opportunity to purchase our Christian needs and wants. God Bless you all!
