Are you looking for a Bible that has a lot more space for Bible journaling? How about pages that are white, as opposed to other Bibles that may have cream pages? Well, I have a Bible that you are just going to fall in love with. This is the Personal Reflections KJV Bible - Rose Gold Bloom edition from Barbour Books.

When I was looking at this Bible, I could not believe how much room I had to journal in the margins. Most journaling Bibles have about a two-inch margin. Others might even have a smaller margin. However, this Bible right here has a two-and-a-half inch margin! Isn't that exciting? Who knew that the extra half inch would make a big difference? The pages are white and they feel crisp just like newly opened pack of printer paper.

I feel that this Bible is such an amazing one. You can use many different types of medium to illustrate your pages. What I love best about this Bible is that you can make this one your own. There is so much room to add doodles, journaling and pictures in the margins. The durability of the pages makes it easier to add watercolors, colored pencils and acrylic paints. This Bible will last for years to come.

I received this Bible from Barbour Publishing in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions in this review are of my own.

This is a beautiful Bible. I have the Rosegold Bloom edition and the cover is very pretty and the page edges are colored with hues of pinks and gold which I really like cause unlike gold gilded page edges these edges do not scratch and scuff if you bump them with your fingernail.

This Bible has a sewn binding which means it will last you for years to come. It comes with a nice light pink colored ribbon marker to keep your place. The paper is a very sturdy type of paper which I think will hold up to any type of pens: microns, colored pencils, markers etc. There is half an inch of usable space in the inside margin and just over 2 1/2" of space in the outer margins so there's plenty of space for notes or artwork.

This Bible also contains some nice features in the back of the Bible which include: book summaries, where to find stories and events in the Bible, key Bible characters, important women of the Bible, Bible passages for times of personal need and an overview of the Bible.

The font size is an 8pt font which is on the smaller size but due to the paper quality there is no ghosting in this Bible which makes the smaller font very easy to read. I would much rather have a smaller font with no ghosting than a large font on less quality paper with ghosting. The red letter in this edition is also a nice shade of red and is not too bright.

I was impressed with this Bible and would definitely recommend it as long as your eyes can take the smaller font size, for me it is fine with a pair of reading glasses. If you would like to see a full review of this Bible and see it up close you can see my video review on you tube under the channel name Bible Believing Christian.

I received this Bible from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

I really wanted to find a KJV Journaling bible. this Bible is excellent for Bible journaling for those of you who like to get into doing more than taking notes although I do that also! I have been very pleased with this Bible it has thick pages and really should be under the title of journaling Bibles. I Believe Christian books would sell a whole lot more of them if they would more adequately put it in with the journaling Bible grouping instead of having the title personal reflections. The title is misleading. I am using gesso, I am using watercolors, acrylics, stamping, I am using gel pens and Prismacolor pencils in this Bible! However is big it is heavy because of the thick paper so please don't expect to pack it back and forth to church. sorry if this isn't punctuated properly but I am doing voice to text. Most Bible journals are ESV. I personally am not used to the translation. I own an R L Allen and

a Schlyler Bible that I read out of but it is kind of funny that I grab this one especially if I cannot attend church because I do have a disability and end up listening via Skype. My good leather bibles are on the back of my desk and I'll grab my personal reflections Bible because it is on my desk with my art supplies and start taking notes with a micron pen in the very wide margins!! This is a great Bible if you want to get into Bible journaling. Again don't let the name dissuade you don't think that you have to buy a "journaling Bible" this is a Journaling Bible! it is the tallest one that I have found with the thickest paper that I have found and it's laid out beautifully with headings and it is in the Good Ol KJV! MANY people would not like this translation but those of us who use the KJV and are now are doing Bible journaling this is an awesome Bible. I strongly encourage Christianbooks to rename this Bible. I know that the people who publish it have their own name for it but it should be grouped with the journaling Bibles and people would get blessed by it and it would up the sales! The only thing I wish would be different is that this Bible would lay totally flat when opened which may be difficult because it is very thick because the pages are very thick. I suppose they have to change the binding which is already starting to bend out of shape. People have a hard time really finding a good Bible journal with decent thick page and this one has it nice and thick without having to use gesso and prep the page I have taken watercolors without prepping the page and had a good time! using washi tape and having a blast! maybe one day I'll upload some of the artwork I've done! sorry this review was so long but I wanted to get it all set in one big review! hope this helps someone!

I love this Bible. I am not a doodler, but I am a scribbler. It has huge margins giving me tons of space to write notes! The pages are nice and thick. Water colored edge with the diy cover make it pretty. It is perfect for my daily reading!
