M3 Stars Out Of 5A Single FlawNovember 29, 2020MQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 2This review was written for KJV Personal Size Giant Print Reference Bible, bonded leather, burgundy. For the price, this is a quality Bible in terms of construction and formatting. However it suffers from one remarkable flaw: Dates in the maps in the back are denoted with Common Era rather than BC/AD. It's up to you to decide how serious of a flaw you find this. I will keep and continue to use this as my normal Bible, but I've chosen to take off two stars due that issue alone and will not be recommending this Bible to or purchasing it for others.
Even in the secular academic world, it is still customary to use BC and AD in a purely Christian context.
The use of the intentionally un-Christian Common Era in the Bible is nothing less than insane. -
