First, the bible itself is very good for study and note taking. I bought the bible with the cover because it was the same price as the pages alone, so I was not out anything. Binder has "O" rings which cuts down on usable page space and makes turning pages hard (to intimate that this cover is worth $40 is quite disappointing). Went to Wally World and bought a 3-inch "D" ring binder ($10) with plenty of room for the printed pages as well as room to add at least 75 more without crowding (already have 50 in there), but can always go with a 4" later. Three hole punch note paper works just fine (I had bought some here with the order and that is on me) and is much less expensive. Bottom line, pages are great and recommend those only.

I love this! I am using it for bible journaling. The option to add my own pages is amazing!! The only issue I have is that the binder it came with seemed a tad too small; the pages were squished together and I fear would rip easily if left in that binder. I did purchase a 4 inch binder(it came with a 3 inch binder) and it is working out very well. The nice thing is if I end up adding a ton of my own extra pages of notes I can still upgrade to an even larger binder.

This looseleaf version is a great idea. Only drawback is that I wish the binder was of a tad bit larger capacity . It binds up a bit when you are trying to turn the pages at the beginning of the Old Testament, otherwise good to go.
