Bogdan5 Stars Out Of 5KJV clafsplit leather BIble vs. NKJV goatskin leather BibleAugust 2, 2018BogdanQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I bought goatskin NKJV Bible and calf split leather KJV Bible. KJV calf split is way better quality than NKJV calf split because it has better quality paper. When I use Zebrite Bible Highlighter in KJV Bible the highlighter doesn't bleed through the pages but in NKJV it does. Font is better in KJV than NKJV because it is bald and way easier to read than NKJV font. Also, another good thing about KJV calf split Bible is that every single verse starts from a new paragraph while NKJV doesn't do that. The margins on the sides are wider in KJV than NKJV. It's a great Bible but for the price you pay I believe KJV Bible, calf split leather is way better quality.
Joanne5 Stars Out Of 5kjv concord wide margin calf-skin bibleMay 13, 2015JoanneQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I absolutely love it !! It is Beautiful and so worth it. The wide margins are great, the quality of the paper, and the calf-skin are truly remarkable. It is well made. I also have this in the esv goatskin wide margin from Cambridge, which is also Beautiful, but nothing tops the KJV CONCORD WIDE MARGIN CALF-SKIN FROM CAMBRIDGE !

Now to the problems. First, the center-column translators notes are too small - smaller than any of my Bibles made by American publishers. Second, the "bold-figure cross reference system" is a poorly designed system imo. Instead of putting a little number or symbol by a word that has a center-column note, the reader has to keep checking the center-column and matching words from the text that are restated in the center-column and then reading the translator's note. A little number or symbol to alert the reader to a marginal note while reading the text would be so much better. Third, the ink used in printing the text sometimes fades towards the end of page headings and sentences. It may have just been the Bible I received, but there was also a whole sentence out of place in Psalms. Fourth, no red-letter edition available. I was expecting more for a Bible at this price. If the publisher fixes these things I would definitely consider buying again.
