This binder contains all the daily lesson plans for the teacher, as well as all the student worksheets, for the second semester of the Kindergarten Complete curriculum. All-inclusive lesson plans cover the major subject areas of Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Physical Development, Fitness, Fine Arts, Character Development, and Bible. Thematic units in this semester include fun topics with which children are familiar, including feelings, Valentine's Day, community helpers, George Washington, Pets, spring, Easter, ducks, plants, friends, the Solar System, insects, summer, and more.
Units integrate literature (not included and must be obtained separately), and include a number of activities and exercises. The layout is easy for parents to follow; lessons open with a list of skills to work on, a list of materials needed for the lesson, and subject-by-subject instructions. Student worksheets are integrated into each lesson and may be removed (for parents who don't wish to remove the pages, additional student workbooks and student refill page options are available and sold-separately).
Lessons 73-144 are included in this semester. Units are based on a five-day school week, with four days of planned activities and one open day for parent-chosen activities. Each day is designed to take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours each day. Designed for use with students aged 4-6.
Specially-marked pages are reproducible for homeschool use only. Scripture is taken from the NIV. Three-ring-binder with three-ring-punched loose-leaf pages.

David5 Stars Out Of 5OutstandingAugust 14, 2015DavidQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The Kindergarten Complete curriculum is comprehensive, yet easy to follow for both the parent and child. Both semesters cover Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, Physical Development & Fitness, Fine Arts, and Character Development/Bible. The art work and graphics are superb; the lessons are clearly explained and illustrated, and they involve the child with relevant activities. Each child can learn at his/her own pace, and be encouraged by constant feedback and examples. Thus, he should never feel pressured or discouraged. There are games and physical exercises in the lessons that enforce what the child has learned; lets him burn off some of his pent-up energy; apply some of his learning to the physical activities; and have fun learning. I have used most of the curriculum with my five-year-old granddaughter during our visits, and she has made amazing progress in all aspects. Im confident that if a child starts learning basic math and reading at an early age, he/she should do well in all elementary grades, high school, and college.
