    Does not do Jesus justice

This movie is an inaccurate portrayal of Jesus Christ according to the New Testament writings. Instead, it talks speculative historical information and fills in the details with creative plot and relationships between characters. It attempts to make out Jesus as a prophet or good teacher rather than the Son of God or the Lord. I did not watch the whole thing though, because I did not consider it a valuable spending of my time. I believe it is intended to suggest that Christians today misunderstand Jesus and that this portrayal is more historically accurate without providing reason for doing so. Not worth supporting with your money. The book is better. The movie from a cinematic standpoint though is appealing and not doubt the DVD will be in New condition.

Killing Jesus is not an accurate portrayal of what happened according to the Bible. I would not recommend it at all. It is far too much of the authors perspective on these events. I would recommend the Visual Bible of Matthew or the Visual Bible of John. These are accurate portrayals of the Bible.
