Although I have read other suspense and mystery books by this author I couldn't stomach the

Women of Justice series. It was too descriptive and too graphic in regards to the murders. To have 3 serial killers in the 3 book series was just too much to handle. I did read all of the series.

I don't want to discourage the author from writing suspense and mystery series but I would ask her not to be so graphic and descriptive of the murder scenes.

Instead of reviewing each individual book, I decided to review the series as a whole. Please leave a comment and tell me if you like this better.

This series is fairly old and the first one that Lynette Eason put out. I think I can safely say that she has come a long way. While this series might have been a good competitor seven years ago, it just doesnt stand a chance now. Christian fiction has definitely come a long way since then.

This series follows three ladies as they fight crime in their own way. Samantha is an expert in computer forensics, Jamie is a forensic anthropologist and Kit is a hostage negotiator. They all have unique personalities and jobs which makes the stories new and exciting. Although, they are all about serial killers. Personally, I love a good serial killer book, but I know they arent for everyone.

In my opinion, my favorite was Dont Look Back, the second book. It had the most unique storyline and my favorite characters. My least favorite was A Killer Among Us, the third one. It was quite generic and boring. Also, in case you were wondering, you need to read the first one in order to read the second one. I dont think you will be able to understand it very well if you skip or go out of order.

Now to the good part- they are worth reading. As I said before, I like serial killer books, so I enjoyed these. Yes, the writing isnt spectacular and the characters werent the best, but theyre worth trying. Basically, if you dont have any other books you want to read or you are craving an eerie suspense book, then go for it. I would consider them a one-time read.

    Great conclusion to this series

After reading Samantha and Jamie Cash's stories in the first two books of this series, I wasn't sure where this book would take us. Eason definitely delivered a great story with some interesting twists! Another fast-paced, suspense-filled, romantic story was hard to put down, and I was sad to see this series end! [4.5 stars]

A book so well written that as you read it you can picture it just like a movie. All the elements of a well written intriguing mystery novel. A page flipping novel to the very end. A book hard to put down

I enjoyed Kit and Noah's story very much. In the last book in this series the author really kicked up! With the serial killer hunting Kit and Noah I was literally reading on the edge of my seat!. This book stayed true to form with the rest of the series, in that it had mystery, suspense, and romance. This is one of the most checked out series in my church library.
